the unease of that physical
acknowledgement
not there.

we will make noises with our mouths.

remember this in typeface.
we stand out,
we ha-ha at things

which need no response.

but in this no-face world,
four letters signify context.

Trying to hash this out, as I'm looking at how a lot of people, myself included, use "haha" or other forms of digital language to fill the void when communicating through text or social media, and how they really don't convey true feelings. It also has thoughs on the hashtag, but as you can tell, this is just something I scribbled in my notebook. Any ideas would be much appreicated.

have you thought of writing this in prose.
its worth exploring. but I'd like to see you just write it out in paragraphs and see what happens. it would require you to expand.
